NTC first opened its doors five decades ago, way back in the 1960′s and has seen many students achieve, it holds a prestigious legacy within the local community and around the UK. NTC regularly competes in competitions on a national and international level. We focus primarily on producing top standard students whilst ensuring that everyone’s’ needs are catered for.
When NTC initially started training, Master Dave Heatherington was the owner and lead instructor, until a few decades later, when his son, Darren Heatherington officially became the owner and lead instructor, several years down the line, Darren decided to proudly hand over the club to the current owner and instructor, Mark M. Mark is committed to ensuring the values of Taekwondo are upheld and the club has a vision for the future, ensuring that a high standard of training is maintained.
NTC is very diverse and has maintained a closely-knit student base for many years. We welcome all prospective students to come and see what we’re all about and we guarantee a student-friendly atmosphere.
NTC is a member of the BTCB, The British Taekwondo Control Board, which is the governing body for WTF (World Taekwondo Federation).
